UTILITY SERVICES
Since February 1, 2019, we have been providing freshwater supply and sewerage collection and disposal services to the island of K. Dhiffushi. On July 14, 2020, Altec Maldives Pvt. Ltd. received a permanent license for Utility Operations of Water and Sewerage Services from the Environment Protection Agency (EPA).
Our water system features over 7 km of underground pipelines serving approximately 350 customers. To ensure a quality and uninterrupted water supply, we operate three RO plants with a combined capacity exceeding 350 cbm/day, compliant with the standards set by the Utility Regulatory Authority of Maldives (URA). For reserve water storage, we maintain two tanks, each with a capacity of 800 m³.
Our sewer network comprises more than 7 km of underground pipelines, 300 manholes, and four collection pumping stations, along with one disposal pump station.
To ensure efficient water and sewer operations, we established a dedicated utility operations department within our company headquarters and at our branch office in K. Dhiffushi. A laboratory was also set up, equipped with the necessary tools for testing. Customers can conveniently pay their utility bills for water and sewerage services at the branch office. Since our commencement, we have provided uninterrupted potable drinking water while consistently maintaining the quality standards established by the Utility Regulatory Authority (URA).
